CEO & Founder
Cameron Rahe
Cameron Rahe, a native of southwest Florida, possesses a profound connection to the region’s environment, culture and community. His upbringing within the construction industry provided him with an extensive understanding of the building process from various angles.
Graduating at the top of his class from the University of Florida’s renowned Building Construction program, Cameron embarked on a successful career in commercial construction upon returning to Naples. With a comprehensive skill set developed through hands-on experience, he has overseen projects totaling over one billion dollars, ranging from commercial structures to residential communities to high-end custom homes.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Cameron enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two daughters. Their shared interests include family vacations, lobstering in the Keys, camping and exploring nature. Recently, they completed the construction of their own custom home in Naples. Cameron’s passion for the environment extends to his role as a FWC Burmese Python contractor, often leading his family on nocturnal adventures deep in the Everglades.
Greg Shavalier
Greg Shavalier’s journey into the world of construction began amidst the distinctive skyline of Las Vegas, where he developed a deep-seated fascination with the ever-evolving architectural landscape. This early passion drove him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, setting the stage for his future endeavors. Eager to delve further into the intricacies of construction, Greg continued his education with a Master’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
Upon completing his studies, Greg found his way to Naples, Florida, drawn by the city’s charm and his wife Alissa’s fond memories of childhood vacations spent there. It was in this vibrant coastal community that Greg laid down his professional roots, immersing himself in a diverse array of construction projects spanning high-rise condominiums, luxury homes, hospitality venues, educational facilities and more. From hands-on field supervision to project management, Greg’s comprehensive background equipped him to excel in every aspect of the industry.
As co-owner at Blue Horizon Construction, Greg’s dedication to excellence is palpable in every project he undertakes. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to fostering a collaborative team environment have earned him a sterling reputation among clients and colleagues alike. Beyond his professional pursuits, Greg finds fulfillment in his roles as a devoted family man and an active participant in outdoor activities.
